Benefits of private sessions:

  • Eases the stress experienced by beginners when attending a group class for the first time. You'll get a crash course in yoga basics with proper alignment so you can attend group class without feeling lost or intimidated.

  • Gives you a plan for a home practice you can learn to incorporate into your daily life.

  • Fine tunes your alignment. In group classes there is rarely time for much personalized alignment work, which can lead to bad habits in poses that can cause or exacerbate injuries.

  • Works with special health concerns, injuries, or any other limitations you may experience. If you are concerned about the possibility of a re-injury working one-on-one you will learn how to adapt certain postures and use modifications as well as find out if there are specific poses to avoid when in class.

  • Fits into your schedule. I come to you! Session schedules are flexible: morning, afternoon, evening, weekday, weekend -- we can find something that works for you.

  • Allows you to tune into your body.  Your body and your energy change during the season, your yoga practice should too.  Acclimate to the seasons by learn to balance out your practice.
