Ch-ch-ch-changes! I am now living in beautiful Denver, Colorado and am enrolled at Regis University in their doctor of physical therapy program. I will be taking a short break from teaching while I get settled and acclimate to my rigorous school schedule, but hope to be back to teaching soon and will update this site as soon as I do.

Back to school & back to teaching!
Greetings, Idaho-folk. I am here for the foreseeable future! So good to be back in the home-state. You can find me teaching in Hailey, ID on Sundays and Tuesday/Wednesday down in Twin Falls, ID, where I’m attending classes at the college there in preparation for the next big life change. =) You can find my current schedule on the “classes” page, and check back frequently for new additions! See you on the mat. Om namah shivaya.

Til next time, New York!
After two surgeries and a round of proton therapy, the brain tumor is no more. I'm feeling great and looking forward to getting back to teaching. I am, however, no longer in the NYC area. I've moved back to my home state of Idaho for the foreseeable future and am living in the Sun Valley resort area. Stay tuned for updates with a new teaching schedule. You can sign up for my newsletter or shoot me an email with any inquiries. I'll also be continuing my private instruction practice out here in the beautiful mountains of Idaho, so if you're a local -- or know someone who's rolling through the area and wants to keep up with their yoga practice in a 1-on-1 setting -- please feel free to reach out.
Thanks for all the love and support during what's been a CRAZY year thus far. Namaste.

I am currently on a medical leave from teaching while I pursue treatment of a brain tumor. Once that's completed, I will be moving my business back West to be closer to my family and my mountains and to create a quieter life, closer to nature. I look forward to getting back to teaching as soon as I am able. I feel very blessed with a wonderful support system and the positive energy and love I've been receiving as I go through this has left me awestruck at the capacity for goodness in this world.
In anticipation of several months of not being able to work and loads of medical expenses, a dear friend set up this GoFundMe page. If you feel inclined to share/donate, your support is greatly appreciated. https://www.gofundme.com/roosbrain
Bless you all and we'll be in touch soon. If you wish to contact me for any reason at any point you can do so through the contact form on the About page or directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
